Cinema in Cantina 2026

Read time: 7 min.

From 9 to 11 September 2026, Cinema in Cantina returns, the film festival that brings cinema into the wineries of the Prosecco DOC appellation, transforming these symbolic places of wine culture into spaces for meeting, storytelling and sharing.

Now in its ninth edition, the initiative is conceived and produced by Sole Luna Doc Film Festival in collaboration with Ginko Film, and promoted by the Prosecco DOC Protection Consortium, with the aim of creating a dialogue between cinema, territory and food and wine excellence. For three evenings, selected wineries will host documentary screenings, accompanied by guided tours of the wineries and Prosecco DOC tastings, offering audiences an experience that brings together culture, landscape and conviviality.

Cinema tells the story of sport: stories of challenges, passion and change

Following the path explored in previous editions, Cinema in Cantina will continue in 2026 to explore the theme of sport, understood as a powerful form of expression capable of bringing people, cultures and generations together.

Like cinema, sport is a universal language: it tells stories of individual and collective challenges, reflects changes within society and showcases the human ability to overcome limits and boundaries. Sport captivates because it speaks through shared values: passion, sacrifice, determination, teamwork and the joy of achievement. Every discipline holds stories that inspire, move and encourage us to look beyond the final result, offering an authentic perspective on the human experience.

The selection of documentaries for the 2026 edition will guide audiences through different perspectives on the world of sport, featuring stories that place people, their challenges and the universal value of sporting experiences at the centre.
