Read time: 5 min.

On July 11, 2026, the Prosecco DOC Consortium participated in the eighth edition of the Rosé Picnic, one of Toronto’s most exclusive and highly anticipated summer lifestyle events, hosted at the Canadian Film Centre (CFC).

Launched in 2017 and having become a landmark event on the Canadian scene over the years, the Rosé Picnic offers an immersive experience that combines wine, food, music, fashion, and entertainment, bringing together thousands of participants for a day of style and camaraderie. The 2026 edition also strengthened its social commitment through a partnership with Breast Cancer Canada, supporting initiatives dedicated to research and the promotion of women’s health.

The event, preceded by the National Rosé Day celebrations on June 13, drew a large crowd, with over 10,000 glasses of rosé served during the ten-hour event and a rich program of experiences for wine and lifestyle enthusiasts.

As Rose Gold Sponsor, Prosecco DOC offered visitors an immersive experience dedicated to the appellation.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a welcome cocktail made with Prosecco DOC Rosé. Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of Prosecco DOC at the Prosecco DOC Flight Bar, a space dedicated to tasting the various expressions of the appellation, including both Spumante and Rosé versions.

The GlamBot Experience, presented by Prosecco DOC, was also a huge success, allowing participants to create spectacular slow-motion videos, transforming toasts and celebratory moments into dynamic content perfect for sharing on social media.

With a program that alternated between guided tastings, wine experiences, cooking demonstrations, fashion shows, live music, and experiential installations, the Rosé Picnic reaffirmed its status as one of the most effective events for reaching a young, cosmopolitan audience with a preference for premium products.

The Consortium’s participation is part of an international promotion strategy aimed at consolidating the reputation of Prosecco DOC and Prosecco DOC Rosé in the Canadian market, strengthening the link between the appellation and a contemporary, experiential, and high-quality consumption context.

Participating wineries: Brilla!, La Marca, La Tordera, Mionetto, Villa Sandi.
