Once again the Prosecco DOC Consortium returned to Wine Paris (10-12 February), one of the most prestigious international wine fairs. Now in its sixth edition, the event confirms itself as an essential point of reference for the wine world, hosting each year producers, experts and enthusiasts from all over the world in the vibrant setting of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
The Consortium has renewed its commitment to the promotion of Prosecco DOC, strengthening the denomination’s presence with a stand in Hall 6, entirely dedicated to Italy. The exhibition space covers 152 square metres and welcomed 12 co-exhibiting companies, doubling last year’s number.
The wineries
The participating wineries included Cantina Montelliana, De Stefani, Italian Wine Brands, La Marca, Le Contesse, Mionetto, Salatin Vini, San Martino Vini, San Simone, Serena Wines 1881, Tenuta San Giorgio and Vini La Delizia. These were joined by 28 other companies that offered their wines for tasting at the Consortium’s desk, providing a broad overview of the richness and versatility of Prosecco DOC.
The Stand
The design of the stand, which will also accompany the forthcoming ProWein and Vinitaly trade fairs, echoed the mood introduced in 2024: a flowing, fluid environment, enriched by natural graphic elements and fabric partitions, designed to encourage meetings and dialogue between trade operators, buyers and journalists.
Infinite Bar by Be Spirits
A further element of great attraction has been the participation of Prosecco DOC in the Infinite Bar at Be Spirits, an exclusive space dedicated to auteur mixology. The bartenders of the Parisian venue The Honey Moon surprised the audience with three refined cocktails based on Prosecco DOC:
- Rosé All Day: Prosecco DOC Rosé, Cognac, Amaretto, Raspberry Shrub and soda.
- Courrier Express: Prosecco DOC Brut, Demerara Rum, lime juice, maple syrup and Angostura Bitters.
- Luxe: Prosecco DOC Extra Dry, ginger beer, The Bitter Truth Pimento Dram, Tempus Fugit Creme de Cacao,1883 Chestnut Crème de fruits.
With its participation in Wine Paris, the Prosecco DOC Consortium officially inaugurates the 2025 trade fair season, which will also see it play a leading role in the forthcoming appointments of Prowein (Düsseldorf, 16-18 March) and Vinitaly (Verona, 6-9 April), a path that underlines its constant commitment to the promotion of Prosecco DOC on international markets.
