Wine Paris, ProWein and Vinitaly with a new concept
Once again this year, the Prosecco DOC Consortium participated in the three most important European trade fairs for the wine world – Wine Paris, ProWein and Vinitaly – which have now become a MUST.
The novelty in 2024 was the introduction of an innovative stand design concept, signed by the Milan-based Migliore+Servetto studio: nature, transparency and lightness are the underlying themes of the three stands and reflect the Consortium’s operational philosophy, which is increasingly oriented towards modernity and sustainability. In concrete terms, the creative approach is expressed in flexible membranes that, soaring up to 4 metres in height, embrace the exhibition space like a double skin made ethereal by the superimposition of matter, textures and light.
The result is a space with a strong identity, offering a dynamic tale of the Veneto-Friuli territory and the value of its products, with the aim of sharing their beauty, innovation and durability. Consistent with the value perspective of sustainable development, the concept will be declined in further variations over the next four years, and most of the furnishing elements will find new life and configuration.
Wine Paris
From 12 to 14 February 2024, Wine Paris welcomed professionals and enthusiasts to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles for its fifth edition. Adding to the appeal of the event was the Infinite Bar by Be Spirits, which bore witness to the emerging trend of mixology in the wine sector. Here, barmen from the renowned Parisian group Animaux Bar created cocktails based on Prosecco DOC, emphasising its versatility and sophistication.

Subsequently, from 10 to 12 March, Düsseldorf hosted the 28th edition of ProWein. Visitors enjoyed a curated selection of 53 labels from 28 companies in our chain. The Consortium invited selected guests to the exclusive Sparkling Night: a rooftop party by Prosecco DOC, where refined Prosecco DOC-based aperitifs could be enjoyed, enlivened by DJ sets, captivating bartending and culinary performances.

Finally, Prosecco DOC participated in Vinitaly, Italy’s most important wine fair, held in Verona from 14 to 17 April 2024. The Consortium presented two prominent locations: Prosecco DOC Pavilion, a greenhouse that hosted tastings, show cooking and cocktail sessions, and the Prosecco DOC Theatre, where talks with partners, Ambassadors and special guests took place. Attracting enthusiasts, experts and industry giants from all over the world, these events became a platform for telling the story of the wide range of activities in which the Consortium operates.
Such moments of high visibility demonstrate the wine industry’s commitment to promoting Italy’s heritage in a global scenario, highlighting the intertwining of sport, food and wine and art that characterises our culture. Fairs, therefore, are not only a commercial platform but also serve as a hub for cultural exchange, research and development in the wine sector.
