The collaboration between MotoGP™ and Prosecco DOC has ushered in a new era for the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship, uniting the world of motorbike racing with Italian wine excellence. Since 2019, Prosecco DOC has become a protagonist in the post-race celebrations as Official Supplier, bringing joy and fun to podiums around the world.
Thanks to the partnership with Dorna Sports, organiser of MotoGP™, Prosecco DOC is also present in the MotoGP VIP Village™, where guests can taste the products of the Denomination while watching the races. There is only one Grand Prix left to the conclusion of the Championship, but the challenge is still open: Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) will fight until the end to decree the winner of the season.
Iconic celebrations
Every victory in MotoGP™ is signed Prosecco DOC, now a symbol of these moments of glory. The riders, after giving their all on the track, celebrate with a shower of Prosecco DOC, creating iconic images that are shared on social media and viewed by millions of fans globally.
Special Initiatives
In addition to the celebrations on the podium, Prosecco DOC appears in trackside advertisements at various circuits and is the protagonist of proposals such as ‘2 Minutes of Joy’, where MotoGP™ riders and personalities talk about their emotions on Sky Sport while sipping a glass of Prosecco DOC and providing an exclusive behind-the-scenes perspective of the races.
In addition, this year the Prosecco DOC Consortium has renewed for the fifth time the competition ‘Guess the winner MotoGP™ 2024’, which offers participants the chance to win a bottle of Prosecco DOC and take part in the draw for fantastic super prizes, including a MotoGP™ Vip Village Experience, a MotoGP™ Live Experience and a Jeroboam Bottle with MotoGP™ edition label.
Another initiative, this time a culinary one, is Master of Hospitality – a format organised by GPOne and the Prosecco DOC Consortium with the participation of Sky – which sees some of the best hospitality teams in the paddock compete behind the cooker. On the Thursday evening preceding the race on the track, an exceptional jury evaluates dishes, location, service and pairings with Prosecco DOC, to award the winners of the contest at the end of the season.
The synergy between MotoGP™ and Prosecco DOC is a brilliant example of how two excellences from different worlds can come together to create something even more unique and special.
