The Prosecco DOC Protection Consortium is looking for partners for European promotion

Desenzano del Garda, Italy – December 1st, 2025

The Grana Padano Cheese Protection Consortium, in partnership with the Prosecco D.O.C. Protection Consortium Prosecco, has presented a programme of activities – Simple programmes ‘Subsidies for information and promotion measures concerning agricultural products implemented in the internal market and in third countries in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

As the lead proposing body, the Grana Padano Consortium has launched a call for tenders for the selection, through an open competitive procedure, of an “Implementing Body” that will be responsible for carrying out the Actions (activities/initiatives/costs) aimed at achieving the objectives set.

The programme of activities was presented in the ‘Call for proposals 2025’ and will take place in Germany, Poland and Denmark, using Grana Padano PDO cheese and Prosecco DOC as testimonial products.

The deadline for receipt of proposals is 7 January 2026, at 4 p.m.

CLARIFICATION – CONFLICT OF INTEREST – CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CERTIFICATES FOR ACTIVE CORPORATE POSITIONS (RELEVANT ROLES)

Following the communication received from the Ministry on 10 December 2025 and the publication of the related Ministerial FAQs concerning the 2025 Guidelines (Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014), the following clarification is provided and is addressed exclusively to candidates applying for the selection of the Implementing Body (IB).

The request for Chamber of Commerce certificates relating to active corporate positions, already provided for in the Technical Specifications and in Annexes A and B (point k) of Envelope A documentation), shall be understood as referring to natural persons holding roles with powers of representation or management, including, by way of example and not limitation: directors, members of the Board of Directors, managers, legal representatives, and any persons with powers of representation or management, within the candidate economic operator and any declared subcontractors.

For economic operators established outside Italy, the required documentation may be provided through equivalent documents to Chamber of Commerce certificates, issued by the competent authority of the country of establishment, suitable to prove active corporate positions and powers of representation or management, in line with the clarifications provided in the Ministerial FAQs.

This clarification does not introduce any new obligations and is intended solely to clarify the scope of existing requirements, in line with the clarifications provided by the Ministry.
