On 12 December 2024, Munich became an international stage for the celebration of Made in Italy excellence with the fourth edition of the Gala Italia, organised by All About Italy. The event took place in the prestigious Hercules Halle, one of Munich’s most prestigious concert halls that, in its neoclassical setting, can accommodate up to 1450 people.
Music and Tableaux Vivants
The evening began with a performance of the Messa Solenne per il Principe Esterházy (1811) by Luigi Cherubini, conducted by Maestro Annunziata De Paola.
The concert was enriched by a unique performance: Tableaux Vivants inspired by the masterpieces of Caravaggio and the artists of his school. Through the combination of music, theatrical scenes and chiaroscuro light effects, 25 paintings came to life, perfectly merging visual art and live performance.
The Gala Dinner: homage to the Veneto
After the concert, guests moved to the elegant Hotel de Charles Rocco Forte for an aperitif of Prosecco DOC, the event’s Official Sparkling Wine. The evening continued with an exclusive gala dinner, reserved for 200 VIP guests, including representatives of luxury brands such as Armani, Generali, Marina Rinaldi, Maserati and Panerai.
Chef Fulvio Pierangelini delighted the guests with a refined menu inspired by the excellence of the Veneto region, always accompanied by Prosecco DOC.
