The Super Maxi 90 Prosecco DOC Shockwave3 and the Swan 72 Prosecco DOC Flying Dragon will race to conquer the podiums of the Barcolana, Veleziana and Venice Hospitality Challenge.
Prosecco DOC returns to sail the Adriatic Sea, right in the basin of its Denomination, aboard its marvellous boats – the Super Maxi 90 Prosecco DOC Shockwave3 and the Swan 72 Flying Dragon Prosecco DOC – in the Barcolana, Veleziana and Venice Hospitality Challenge regattas.

The Consortium is pleased to announce the renewal of its collaboration with Barcolana 56, in the role of Gold Sponsor and Official Sparkling Wine. Prosecco DOC will play a leading role in the world’s most popular regatta with over 2,000 registered boats.
First of all, the scenographic Prosecco DOC Lounge, furnished by Calligaris and located near the Scala Reale in front of Piazza Unità, where sponsors and institutions will be served the labels of 18 producers who have decided to support the event with the Consortium. The same references will also be served at the Prosecco Terrace at Pier The Roof, where customers will enjoy a real Prosecco Experience, an exclusive location to enjoy bubbles, cocktails, events, music, and to follow the regatta live from big screens.
Prosecco DOC will not be missing at the Barcolana Seachef on Wednesday 9 October, which will see 10 starred chefs compete first at sea and then at the cookers at the Portopiccolo Pavillion. The Veneto-Friuli bubbles will sign the aperitif preceding the gourmet dinner for over 200 guests.

On Saturday 12 October at 6 pm, Tina and Milo, the Mascots of the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, will board the boat of Prosecco DOC, Sparkling Wine Sponsor of Milano Cortina 2026. After a day spent sailing on the Prosecco DOC Shockwave3, the Mascots will welcome young and old at the Prosecco DOC Lounge for a photo all together.

Venice Hospitality Challenge
The Venice Hospitality Challenge, now in its 11th edition, encompasses the allure of great sailing and world-famous hotel excellence. This regatta, a true Grand Prix of the City of Venice, is the only one to be held entirely in the inland waters of a city: on Saturday, October 19, Maxi Yachts that have signed unforgettable pages in the history of sailing will compete, paired with as many famous realities of the Veneto’s haute hôtellerie.
Veleziana
Now in its 16th edition, Veleziana is the only event in the world that allows racers to arrive with full sails in St. Mark’s Basin. The particularity of this regatta is precisely the environment: it winds on a course that starts from the sea in front of the Venice Lido and ends in the lagoon in front of St. Mark’s Square, requiring special tactics precisely to manage the variations in currents, bottlenecks and wind shifts … and to admire the surrounding spectacle. This year the Super Maxi 90 Prosecco DOC Shockwave3 will try to defend the title it won in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
