Since 2016, Prosecco DOC has been the Official Sparkling Wine of the city of Venice<\/strong>, through a partnership that ensures its widespread presence in the city\u2019s communications and daily life.<\/p>\n

Among the most distinctive elements of this presence are the branding of three vaporetti for three months a year and the printing of over 1 million Prosecco DOC-branded public transportation ticket stubs<\/strong>. The campaign thus brings the brand directly into the daily experience of those visiting Venice: Prosecco DOC accompanies the journey through the lagoon and is associated with one of the city\u2019s most recognizable symbols. The personalized tickets can also serve as a small souvenir of the Venetian experience, preserving the memory of the trip and the connection to the appellation over time.<\/p>\n

The city\u2019s relationship with Venice was particularly celebrated on the occasion of the 1,600th anniversary of Venice\u2019s founding<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

March 25, 2021\u2014a date traditionally associated with the city\u2019s founding in 421\u2014marked the start of celebrations for the 1,600th anniversary of the Serenissima. For the occasion, Prosecco DOC was chosen as the official sparkling wine of the celebrations<\/strong>, becoming part of the narrative of an anniversary destined to draw international attention to the city.<\/p>\n

The relationship between the Consortium and Venice has resulted in Prosecco DOC being featured at the year\u2019s major events: Venice Boat Show to the Redentore Festival, from the Historical Regatta to the Venice Film Festival, all the way through the Christmas and New Year\u2019s celebrations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t
